An Assembly Such as This: A Novel of Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman

An Assembly Such as This - Pamela Aidan I was a little disappointed with this book. It painted a picture of Darcy that was somehow different than the one I got from reading Pride and Prejudice. I also thought this book was a little boring and the biggest disappointment of all was that after reading the inner thoughts of Darcy and having him be kind of an ass to everyone, the book doesn't even end with him and Lizzy together. It ends before because it's part of a series (which I didn't realize). The writing was done well and everything, I just prefer Pride and Prejudice, I guess. This book kind of made me not like Darcy. I wanted to shake him and tell him to stop being such a stick-in-the-mud.
